She’s produced mixed reality, livestreaming and virtual experiences for 20 years and wrote the book Promptcraft in early 2023, guiding the careful and ethical integration of AI within immersive and interactive media.

RANDY MARSDEN

Randy is a 5-time startup founder, and the inventor of Swype – the text input method with billions of users. In addition to his startups, Randy sold his company to Nuance (now Microsoft), and Apple then led engineering teams there along with being the VP of Innovation at Nike. Randy is a thought-leader around using mixed-reality to help everyone engage more with the real world with current app, Skidattl.

MATT HOE

Matthew is a kama’aina from Oahu who is a software engineer, post acquisition startup technical founder and creative who has a background in VR and AI virtual interactive characters. Matthew is currently working on AI next gen automation and storytelling in interactive systems, from tools for automated software engineering to AI agent avatars for generative narrative games which program themselves with you using your creativity. He has also worked on projects ranging from the art scene in San Francisco to projects for FAANG / fortune 500 companies, as well as featured in conferences and publications such as SIGGRAPH.

SHERRIE RICHMAN

Sherrie is a cross-disciplinary founder from Oahu, a creative, and community builder within the AI & immersive technologies (XR/AR/ VR) & digital space. Sherrie is also an “XR Media & Emerging Technology” major, at UCLA last year and an Abundance 360 (2024) scholar, (Peter Diamondis). She also has won several awards for her XR storytelling/producing work including “Best in Show” at the San Francisco Virtual Reality and Google’s Project Tango hackathons. Top 40 VR Twitter influencer by Virtual Umbrella and Venture Reality Fund’s list as a Top Female XR Innovator. She has been invited to share her thoughts as a guest speaker at World XR Switzerland, Digital L.A, SVVR (Silicon Valley Virtual Reality), Mozilla, and Hawaii Public Radio – Byte Marks Cafe.
