Artificial Intelligence tools like ChatGPT are advancing at an unprecedented rate and are very close to perfectly mimicking human interaction. These advances have brought many benefits but also the ability for bad actors to use these tools for more sophisticated and highly believable scams. Additionally, the academic world is rushing to deal with students’ ethical use of these A.I. tools at all levels of education and various industries grapple with how A.I. might possibly replace a human employee. Some researchers believe this field is advancing too quickly and advocate for a slower pace with more restrictions but corporate need to race to the top of the A.I. industry may trump rational behavior with no one knowing what these advances ultimately mean for the human race. The capabilities of A.I. models like ChatGPT and DALL-E will be demonstrated.
