Come by BoxJelly in Ward for their Artist in Residence exhibition and September Pau Hana. The event will include the unveiling of “Bones Are Seeds” by Louella Aquino! The multi-media, interdisciplinary exhibition is a culmination of her research in and out of the BoxJelly studio.

Louella has been the AiR for 6 months and this exhibition explores the meaning behind words such as sustainability, displacement, migration, femininity, indigeneity, and much more. She’s experimented with so many different mediums including paint, pastel, human hair, hog casing, and has expanded our definition of art through incorporating farming and social practice into her residency as art.
