Do you have to travel for your medical needs? Join us for a conversation on the lengths Pacific communities have to go for health care.

Living in the islands often means traveling for health care. Neighbor island residents fly to Oahu, Oahu residents go to the mainland and our Pacific neighbors fly to Hawaii– all for medical care they can’t get at home. The challenges are especially acute for Indigenous Pacific Islanders who face high rates of diabetes and other diseases.

Join reporter Anita Hofschneider to share your experiences with this ongoing issue. Healthcare professionals, community health providers, and personal stories welcome.
