No matter how great functionality of a product is, if the product doesn’t speak the same “language” as users, it is not so great after all.
As technology advances, the user experience has become one of the most important and indispensable components in product development.
The philosophy of “Design Thinking” extends beyond just product design. It’s a great tool for effectively interacting and communicating with users (of anything!).
So, Let’s talk about Design thinking! Marisa Belaski-Farias will share her experiences and knowledge in UX/UI/ and Design thinking.

Marisa Belaski-Farias
She was born and raised in Mililani, Hawai‘i, and has been living in the Bay Area for the last 12 years. She’s an Art Director and Designer with a focus on brand design. The bulk of her design experience comes from working at tech startups in the Bay. In her last few roles, she has been focusing on how design can be leveraged to positively impact the interactions a brand has with the people they are trying to reach, at every touchpoint. In her current role, she’s a Designer at an agency focusing on B2B design for tech companies.
