Through a grant from the Hawaii State Department of Business, Economic Development & Tourism (DBEDT), CyberHawaii is developing a Cyber Leader Certification and Cyber Readiness Program to train entry level cybersecurity professionals and support Hawaii businesses and nonprofit organizations needing to meet federal contracting requirements.

Certified Cyber Leaders will lead small to medium-sized businesses through the Cyber Readiness Program on general cybersecurity hygiene and basic safeguarding measures required for federal compliance.

CyberHawaii is currently recruiting both cyber leader candidates and small and medium-sized businesses and nonprofit organizations that are existing federal contractors or those interested in doing business with the federal government and require additional training and assistance to be cyber ready.

If you or your vendors have an existing federal contract or are interested in doing business with the federal government and require additional cyber readiness training and assistance, we invite you to attend a virtual informational session on Thursday, Sept. 9 from 10 – 11 a.m. HST.
