Meet UH Alumna Linh Owen and learn the about the local fashion scene.

Linh holds the unique title of Director of Awesomeness at Fighting Eel overseeing financial, HR, and operational aspects of the business. She also deals with international sourcing, wholesale, and production.

Linh is an alumna of UH Manoa Business School with a degree in International Business. She has been with Fighting Eel for 17 years and played a major role in seeing the company grow from a pledging wholesale business to a mainstream lifestyle brand it is today. Although Linh is a certified “numbers” person, her real strength lies in her ability to read people and predicting customer trends. She will share how Fighting Eel is able to build a solid customer base and how the company is able to adapt quickly to a changing retail environment.
