Hawaii Cybersecurity Conference — Day 2
The 2nd Annual Hawaii Cybersecurity Conference is an information-sharing event intended to help Hawaii’s varied communities be better informed and better prepared against online criminals. This conference will bring together Hawaii-based organizations, individuals, consumers, and students to learn from a variety of federal and state agencies about how to better prepare against cyber threat actors.
- Day 1 (Full Day): Wednesday, June 26 9 am – 4 pm @ UH Mānoa Campus Center
Join us for a full day of information-packed sessions. Opening remarks by Lt. Gov. Sylvia Luke. - Day 2 (Half Day): Thursday, June 27 9 am – noon @ UH West Oahu Media Center
A special half-day technical briefing designed for security and cybersecurity professionals.
Hawaii Lieutenant Governor Sylvia Luke will open the conference. Experts from federal and state agencies will provide critical information that Hawaii businesses need to stay safe. Agencies confirmed to attend are:
- U.S. Secret Service
- Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)
- Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA)
- State of Hawaii, Office of Homeland Security
- United States Intelligence Service (USIC)
- Homeland Security Investigations (HIS)
- U.S. Coast Guard (USCG)
- Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS)
Logistics
The conference is in person only. No online/virtual attendance is supported. This event is not open to the media. There is no charge to attend the conference. This conference is organized by CyberHawaii with support and speakers provided by the FBI Honolulu Office, the Hawaii State Office of Homeland Security and other federal and state agencies.
The Hawaii Cybersecurity Conference is a two-day event that will be held at the University of Hawaii’s Manoa and West Oahu campuses.
Prerequisites: This session will focus on the technical aspects of malicious behaviors. An understanding of information technology, information security and/or cybersecurity is required. Experience working as a security professional is recommended.
