Come learn about funding opportunities to strengthen your organization and community at the Hawaii Grant Summit on Thursday, October 26, 2023 from 1:30-4:30pm at the Entrepreneur Sandbox in Honolulu.

This informative workshop will provide information on the latest federal grants available across three key areas: rural utilities, school safety, and digital equity—and how to build a successful application for an award for your important projects. You’ll hear concrete examples of how these grants have been successfully used right here in Hawaii from people on the ground making it happen.

The event will kick off with a keynote case study presented by Zach Sheets, Principal of Waipahu Elementary, and Misti Pali-Oriol, a Grants, Outreach, and Policy expert at the Hawaii State Department of Education. They will share firsthand experience leveraging grants to improve Waipahu High School’s connectivity and safety.

Then you’ll hear detailed grant overviews and advice from the experts at LDA Consulting, who have helped education, healthcare, and tribal organizations across the country access millions in funding. Their team of presenters will cover the ins and outs of current opportunities and answer your questions during an interactive Q&A session.

We’ll wrap up with informal networking over light refreshments sponsored by Neat Systems, a communications technology company that builds video conferencing and other hardware solutions frequently funded through digital equity grants.

If you’re looking to bring more resources to your school, nonprofit, or community organization, you won’t want to miss this opportunity. Seating is limited – reserve your spot today!
