Using digital transformation to help your company.

Brought to you by INNOVATE Hawaii (HTDC), this informational webinar (2-hours) is designed to introduce Hawaii businesses to elements of digital transformation and new ways to meet the needs of modern learners.

The overall goal of workforce digital transformation is to help Hawaii manufacturers capture institutional knowledge and standard work, develop training content, and reduce onboarding costs using digital formats and emerging technologies such as video-based learning, augmented reality, and virtual reality.

Target Audience: Hawaii Manufacturing Companies

Objectives:

  • Review what a Digital Transformation is and how it can help your company.
  • Describe the program elements of a Digital Transformation.
  • Understand how the OMEP Cloud works and facilitate Digital Transformation initiative.
  • Explain the difference between Video, Augmented, and Virtual Reality content.
  • Understand the basic steps of turning video into training content.

About the Speaker:

Russ is an experienced Program Manager in design, deployment, and management of global development programs that reduce operating expenses and increase organizational efficiency and effectiveness. He has been a Manufacturing Consultant with OMEP for over the past 6 years helping business in Oregon meet their business goals. During his 30-year career, he has managed small and large teams that have delivered and exceeded performance goals. Russ is skilled in defining and executing strategic and operational objectives that deliver results. He is one of the subject matter experts in the OMEP Cloud (Operational Management System) and a lead in OMEP’s Digital Transformation program
