Explore the dynamic and rapidly evolving world of AI technology with a cohort of educators you can grow to know over the weekend.
-
Engage and present in hands-on activities and byte-sized presentations on teacher mental health and well being.
Our Cohort Format:
-
Cohort of Immersive Learning: Each registered attendee will be assigned to one of eight cohorts. Each cohort will participate in a half day, 3 section workshops, designed to foster deep learning and collaboration and to build your very own support network.
-
Session 1: AI in the Classroom and Office: This workshop will serve as a beginner friendly course into what AI is and share out all the ways it’s already being used in classrooms across Hawai’i with both teacher and student examples to learn from.
-
Session 2: Cohort Presentations: Co-present your own tips and wisdom within your cohort. These are the proposals submitted by members of the cohort.
-
Session 3: Hands on with AI: Build upon your initial exploration with AI with collaborative workshops, practical activities, and peer-to-peer support. This session cements your learning and encourages application in your educational setting. This session will focus on practical AI tools that can be integrated into classroom settings to enhance teaching and learning experiences. You will work hands on with your cohort team members to use these AI tools to build your own lesson plans, standards, rubrics, work emails and more!
