– What are some fun AI-powered activities that kids can safely do?
– Does AI help or hinder creativity?
– Can screen time set kids up for the AI-driven future?
– What are ways that family trips can go better with AI?
Our panelists will include:
* Cricket La Chica- He’s a dad to two energetic young kids, aged 7 and 3. He spends his free time coaching their soccer team and cheering them on at every game. Professionally, he owns a mobile app development company that specializes in creating apps for iPads and phones. His passion for technology carries over into the educational realm, where he is eager to share how AI can inspire and engage children
* Amelie Lim- She’s a second grader who loves to spend her screen time exploring fun creative tools for making designs and music. She’s a voracious reader who loves the Wings of Fire and Mysterious Benedict Society. She recently ran her first 5K and took first place among under 10 girls!
* Kevin Lim (Moderator) – Kevin is the founder of Hawaii Tech Mentors and an avid learner of all things AI. He’s previously worked on speech models at Google and a YCombinator startup in the music space.
