Join us as we return to meeting in-person for Maui TechOhana to hear about the “Future of Work” with guest speaker Jen Chiu of Google.

Maui-based guest speaker, Jen Chiu, works on a Design Led innovation team at Google that explores how the future might look in a hybrid/remote work environment through immersive experiences such as virtual reality and more.

In addition to the future of work, Jen will also talk story on her winding and diverse career path to and in tech. Coming from a management consulting, UX strategy & planning, product, creative and entrepreneurial background she has led cross functional teams across tech, start-ups, media and non-profits such as Facebook, HBO, The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and government organizations.

“I approach opportunities with creativity, curiosity and a spirit of experimentation combined with measurement and rigor,” says Jen. “I’m equally energized by leading and rolling up my sleeves in planning and execution. I enjoy bringing clarity and organization to ambiguous spaces and building teams from the ground-up.”

Maui TechOhana meetings, organized by the Maui Economic Development Board, Inc. , and supported by the County of Maui and Hawaii Technology Development Center (HTDC), provide an informal networking opportunity open to anyone interested in Maui County’s technology industry.
