Tips for Dealing with Media and Preparing for Interviews

Information about the Workshop:

The goal of media training is to assist and prepare you for your role in representing your company, and take advantage of promotional opportunities. You’ll learn how to predict questions, avoid common traps, focus on delivering your key messages and discuss your company, products and services in an engaging and professional way. It will cover a variety of interview situations and formats, including television appearances, radio and print interviews.

Media training is about helping you come across as comfortable, confident and relaxed anytime you have to speak to someone in the media, a reporter, journalist or talk show host, and these days it’s also about speaking to your own camera for social media and media you create.

Registration is a first-come, first-serve basis and will be limited to 25 attendees. Please register by Friday, May 20 at 5pm. Once registration closes an email confirmation will be sent out to those who have registered for the workshop.

If you face difficulties with registration, please contact Olivia at olivia@htdc.org.
