Minecraft Master Class: “A passion for playing is a catalyst for learning.”

Tuesdays 10:30am to 12pm

April 21 to May 12

The Master Crafter Class uses the Minecraft platform to prepare keiki for the future by exploring and honing, Minecraft abilities, advanced learning skills and team building readiness, while learning a little more about our home here in Hawaiʻi. Students will be given freedom to experiment, fail, and succeed in an open learning, self-expression filled safe space. Our students will forge skills in collaboration, communication, critical thinking and systems thinking.

In addition to 21 century skills this class will be inter woven with place-based mo‘olelo. We hope to create an environment where our students can master the concepts of:

  • Kuleana (self-worth and empowerment through responsibilities);
  • Kaikua’ana-Kaikaina (social emotional learning, behavior code, and cooperative efficiency); and
  • Mālama‘Āina (land stewardship and sustainability for future generational survival).
