Cheryl Cross has steadily crafted a narrative in the tech and engineering sectors that goes beyond the usual corporate journey. With an influential role steering projects exceeding $150 million in annual contract revenue, Cheryl has solidified her standing as a trusted partner to large corporate clients. Her expertise in both Hawaii and the Indo-Pacific region’s dynamic environment is evident, having refined staffing plans critical to national defense such as C4ISR Intelligence and Mission & Defense contracts.

Her background as a former radio broadcaster, combined with her extensive speaking yearly engagements, brings a vibrancy and flair to her presentations. In 2023 alone, she has been a speaker at 9 professional events and hosts a weekly LinkedIn Live Audio series, “Ask the Recruiter”, offering guidance to Military personnel transitioning into Civilian Careers. In November she plans on launching her first podcast on her own platform, X CHANGE Podcast Series and is poised to release a comprehensive 3 year guide book for Mil2Civ career transition, from the voice of the corporate recruiter.

As attendees prepare for her “Elevator Pitch” session at the Hawaii Women in Tech webinar, they can expect not just a presentation, but a masterclass rooted in practical wisdom. The year 2023 has seen her in pivotal roles, including her presidency with the Organization of Women Leaders (OWL), moderating the esteemed Wahine Forum Negotiation Panel, and holding a key seat on the Workforce Development Council for the State of Hawaii. Her story is an inspiration, exemplifying the confluence of dedication, strategy, and heart in shaping an industry.
