Product Design at Hawaiian Airlines
August 29, 2022 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm HST
| FreeThis session is for any designer looking to learn about product design or current product designers looking to compare notes.
The product design team at Hawaiian Airlines contributes to projects that involve booking flights, checking in to flights, managing trips, and more. New features must be designed for different channels: a responsive website, a mobile app, and airport kiosks. Product features are released with overlapping timelines. Product managers, analysts, and developers are distributed throughout the islands, the mainland, and overseas. Designing for a large organization in a highly competitive industry can be overwhelming.
Learn how the team uses Figma and design system methodologies to design efficiently, meet deadlines, and hand off organized deliverables to developers.
